Tara Thompson is a mom, REALTOR®, and relationship builder who has built her life and career around helping people.

As a REALTOR® licensed in North and South Carolina, Tara helps buyers, sellers, and relocating families navigate one of the biggest decisions of their lives. Having relocated to the Carolinas herself, she understands that moving is about more than buying or selling a house. It’s about finding the place that feels like home.

Tara also works with real estate agents across the U.S. and Canada, helping them build and strengthen their online reputations through client reviews, visibility, and trust. She loves helping great agents make sure the reputation people see online reflects the work they are already doing for their clients.

But behind everything Tara does, being a mom comes first. Family, community, and helping others are a huge part of who she is.

That heart for helping people also led to one of her most meaningful passion projects, Yogie’s Mission, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit created in memory of her beloved dog, Yogie. Through Yogie’s Mission, Tara helps families and their pets during difficult times when financial circumstances could stand in the way of getting their pets the care or necessities they need. Its mission is simple: helping families and pets in crisis, one paw print at a time.

Whether she’s helping her daughter grow, helping a family make a move, helping a REALTOR® build their reputation, or helping a pet and their family through Yogie’s Mission, Tara’s purpose is pretty consistent: connect with people, show up when it matters, and leave things a little better than she found them.
